We love Skeets BBQ! It's our go to place to eat BBQ!!! Their food is always good & the meat is very tender. We also love their potato salad & green beans!! Yum!!!
Great food good service
Ordered To Go at counter, food was hot & delicious. The portions were good & the smoke flavor was just right. Brisket was lean & moist. Not over smoked! The pintos were awesome & tater salad right mix of mayo & mustard. The homemade warm jalapeno bread was a great surprise! Get extra for the ride home! The topper were the freshly made desserts! Giant piece of German chocolate cake, hot peach cobbler & a brick size pecan pie with filling that was so smooth! My compliments to Skeeters! Great with Astros on too hot to cook summer days!
A group of us from work have lunch here regularly, always a good lunch stop.
Great big plates of great BBQ
Good place for BBQ and games.
We love it and we will be back, good service.
The food was really good the staff was a little rush but I was nice after
Very excellent barbeque. I have tried several places in Pearland and I enjoy Skeets the best.
Went last night with family and friends. Good vibes when I walked in. Food and drinks were greats. Loved the atmosphere.
One of the best bbq spots in Pearland. Owner is a good guy and the bar on the opposite side is legit! Love playing pool there and DJ B-Major spins every weekend
The food is really really good, and the people who put your food together are really really nice.
Very good smoked meats.
We had a loaded baked potato with chopped brisket. They accommodated the need for some toppings on the side. The sauce tasted different than we remember, but it was still good.
Actually the best bar b que I think. The workers are very pleasant and quick to serve. For adult beverages they have a cozy bar. Deffinatley a place to visit
Good BBQ, super friendly service, skip the cake.
Their sausage and pulled pork are good. Brisket not so much. Watered down Mac N Cheese. Pricing is pretty high for the quality of food.
This is my preferred stop for food, drinks, music and company. Definitely a place where one can come in as a stranger but leave out with your bartender remembering what you specifically want when needing another hit. I must say when the song says it’s 5 o’clock somewhere - each time I visit it’s always 5 o’clock. Now let’s talk about their food - their bakes, sides, meats will leave you drooling. I can’t visit this place without having a drink or placing an order to eat in or to go - that would just be wrong of me; just call me an ambulance if I don’t order a stiff drink upon arrival. “I LOVE THIS BAR”
1st time eating here (take out, quarantine still in place). Not much of a carnivore so I tried the baked potato instead, also a1st. What a pleasant surprise! Expecting a bland, dry unseasoned dish, my mouth was happy to taste chopped spicy jalapeno sausage atop of a well-baked potato that wasn't undercooked nor too mushy. The sausage spice level (chile pepper) was perfect with just a lil kick and not overly salty nor greasy like other BBQ joints. No skimping on the meat either; the perfect balance for those who don't just want a heavy meat dish. Will definitely return for the baked potato experience!
Best Spicy Sausage Po Boy in Pearland!!
Skeets used to be great, the potatoes were off the charts amazing and the lunch special couldn't be beat. Well they have gone way downhill, somehow a lunch special for $8.95 with 2 extra drinks and extra butter and sour cream totalled $39.95. We called and they told us the price was correct, look at our receipt. Oh wait they didn't give it to us. Damn if I knew extra sour cream and butter would cost almost $20 I would have gone to Kroger
Sausage taste like somebody pappy made it
Longtime going here.. Adam does a great job...
Smokey flavored ribs with tangy bbq sauce.
Good BBQ. The smoked turkey is awesome. Welcoming and friendly environment.
This place has the best brisket sandwich in Pearland and yes better than Killens. If you like peppercorns overpowering the taste of the brisket and ketchup like bbq sauce...go to killens otherwise go to Skeets. The brisket is very well cooked with no extra seasoning or pepper to alter the taste of the meat. The sauce is where the flavor comes from and its on point!
The ribs are so delicious, they fell right off the bone. The flavor was amazing. As much as I dislike barbecue I will be back.
Love this place! Great BBQ and cool Texas small town atmosphere!
The best steak, BBQ, and bartenders in all of Pearland!
I'd give it a 5 if there was a handicap bathroom accessible on both sides of the restaurant. Foods great. Atmosphere great. Just have to go through an obstacle course to access the restroom.
Good food. Cold beer. Friendly folks. Great little dive, in my opinion. IsI'd come back no doubt.
We got 2 potatoes and 4 drinks it cost 39.95 I couldn't believe it. Lunch special bakers 8.85 which invludes drink. So they charged us 21 dollar extra... For what I will Never go there again. Did you see the pictures.
Great customer service but food wasnt that great to us. We had the brisket sandwich. The brisket wasn't seasoned well and the bbq sauce was not good ( it didn't taste like anything) in our opinion. The coleslaw was nice.
Everything is good here. You can’t go wrong with Skeets. However, you guys should change your website hours to match your current hours so people aren’t inconvenienced.
Very good BBQ. A favorite of mine when in area of 288 & 518
The food was good. The fries were excellent. The brisket was a little dry (over cooked). The BBQ sauce needs help. This is supposed to be Texas BBQ. Jalapeno sausage was very good. Over all better than some other places that I have eaten at, but not outstanding.
The public U is delicious and the portions are big. I had a barbecue baked potato that is enough to feed 2 people. What I did not like is every time I go there nobody seems to say hello or greet you when you walk in. I went with my family for a very late lunch around 3 o'clock. We were the only table there and yet when we walked in not one person greeted us and said hello. We just talked to the food line and asked what we wanted. No thank you when we paid for our male either. The food is good but the service is bad.
Never got to try but apparently they’re closed down.
Love this place. Fast service and great tasting food.
I normally don't post anything but Bighorn has the best BBQ I spent 54.00 and the workers wouldn't throw in a few slices of bread with my two pounds of ribs I bought and the meat didn't taste like it had been smoked never again.
This is real slow cook BBQ that fall off the bone and the slice beef is real tender. For a BBQ in the suburbs it REAL good. You should try the ribs and beef with beans and potatoes salad. The carrot cake is pretty good also.
One of the best kept secrets of BBQ in all of Houston!!!
BEST SLICED BRISKET SANDWICH IN PEARLAND HONESTLY ONE OF THE BEST I HAD PERIOD AND BBQ BAKE POTATOE AND ITALIAN CREAM CAKE IS SINFULLY GOOD
This place was disappointing. The service and greeting was non existent. I ate in at this location around 5 PM. The brisket was cold and devoid of any flavor. The bread for the brisket sandwich was rubbery. And the barbecue sauce did not have any flavor, not spicy nor tangy. I had to add Tabasco to get a hint of flavor. It was very dark inside and no other clients. Hopefully they get better as I would like to see small places like this succeed. However, I would not go back at this time.
They have a good steak night the bar staff is really nice, and the bar goers are even friendlier
Great placw
No welcome or direction or hello when I walked in. I wanted a sandwich and after I found the counter they silently stared at me while I looked at the menu. He visibly winced at my order. I ordered peach cobbler. You pick your your own from containers you can't see through. When I ordered it the man behind the counter too two containers to the back. I took the one closest to me because my mama taught me that was the polite thing. I got it back to my room and the cobbler had one peach slice in the whole thing. I had a container of breading that didn't even have any sauce on it too make it remotely palatable. It's not Austin or Lockhart but damn! The q was tender and good. Still won't be going back. It was traumatizing.
Such good bbq!!
Social distancing was enforced. Ordered loaded bake potatoes with brisket. Parking was adequate.
I had a bbq baked potato. Very tasteful and filling.
